Homestay Program, Student Residences, and Furnished Apartments

The GEOS Victoria Homestay Program gives visiting students a first-hand experience of Canadian culture by sharing in everyday family life. As well as being able to practice English skills while eating dinner with their host families, students can also participate in family activities, such as weekend hikes, shopping trips and sightseeing tours in beautiful Victoria.

Our GEOS Victoria Homestay Coordinator visits each host family to ensure that students are provided with a comfortable place to study and relax. Our host families live in safe neighbourhoods in Victoria, only a short bus ride or walk away from GEOS Victoria. They are truly interested in hosting international students and are waiting for you to tell them in English all about your home country.

Alternatively, we can place students in a student residence close to the school, or we can make arrangements to find students a furnished or unfurnished apartment during their studies.
